Almond Oil……

Almond Oil has one of the lightest textures of all natural oils and is ideal for use on the skin and hair. Almond Oil is rich in vitamin E, fatty acids, proteins, potassium and zinc, all significant to daily hair and skin regimes. Almond Oil is great for cleansing and soothing for flawless skin, as well as controlling hair loss and leaving hair feeling shiny and nourished.

Aloe Vera……

Aloe Vera is one of the only known natural vegetarian sources of vitamin B12 and contains many minerals vital to the growth and healthy function of all the body’s systems. It is known as a general tonic for the immune system, helping fight illnesses of all kinds. Aloe Vera contains protein, calcium, magnesium, zinc, vitamins A, B12 and E, essential fatty acids and is naturally rich in vitamin C which helps maintain the tone of blood vessels and promotes good circulation. It is also high in amino acids, the chains of atoms constructing protein in our body and Germanium, a mineral with benefits for sufferers of immunodeficiency, pain, cardiac disorders and circulatory problems.

Argan Oil……

Argan Oil is known to the Moroccan Berber community as the “Tree of Life”, the Argan Tree produces an oil which has twice as much vitamin E as Olive Oil and is rich in anti-oxidants, carotenes, squalene and contains 80% unsaturated fatty acids. Argan Oil has been documented since the 13th century as a wonderful aromatherapy oil used to nourish and add life to hair, to strengthen nails and as a rich skin toning oil.
It is known to help reduce the effects of dryness, acne, psoriasis, eczema, wrinkles and is even said to have restorative and age-defying properties. As well as being effective in cooling and soothing inflammation, Argan Oil is reputed to help reduce wrinkles by restoring the skin’s hydro-lipid layer.

Argan Oil can be used as a natural beauty treatment as it is a dry oil that’s instantly absorbed and leaves a silky feel in the hair and skin.

Avocado Oil……

Avocado Oil is an intense and extremely deep penetrating oil, rich in vitamins A, D and E, lecithin, and potassium (known as the youth mineral). It is also high in sterolins (also called plant steroids), which are reputed to reduce age spots, help heal sun damage and minimise scars. Avocado Oil helps soften and moisturise the skin and its wonderfully emollient properties make it ideal for more mature skins, helping to relieve the dryness and itching of psoriasis and eczema.

Beeswax……

Beeswax is one of nature’s finest ingredients from the Honey Bee, wonderfully emollient, soothing and softening, it helps hair and skin retain moisture.  It also has antibacterial, anti- inflammatory and antiviral properties which can help protect the skin.

Bergamot Oil……

Bergamot is a citrus fruit plant. We don’t tend to eat bergamot oranges because they taste extremely sour. However, their distinctive taste is often used to flavour all sorts of different food, such as marmalades, baking, cocktails and tea - the most famous being Earl Grey. Bergamot essential oils are extracted from the peel, which is then used for a range of different commercial and at-home purposes. These include perfumes and colognes, soap-making, aromatherapy, and more.

Bergamot oil is also said to have similar qualities to grapefruit essential oil, in that it’s antiseptic, antispasmodic and analgesic (pain relieving). It has also been linked to potentially helping with skin concerns.

Biotin……

Biotin is a water-soluble B vitamin found naturally in some foods and also in supplements. Biotin plays a vital role in assisting enzymes to break down fats, carbohydrates, and proteins in food. It also helps to regulate signals sent by cells and the activity of genes. Biotin, also known as vitamin B7, stimulates keratin production in hair and can increase the rate of follicle growth

Caffeine……

Caffeine is a natural chemical with stimulant effects. It is found in coffee, tea, cola, cocoa, guarana, yerba mate, and over 60 other products.

Camellia Oil……

Camellia Oil is obtained from the seeds of the plant (Camellia Oleifera) – The plant grows mostly in Asia. Camellia oil is known to be effective multi-purpose moisturiser.

Using camellia oil daily can produce smoother and more moisturized skin due to its moisturizing abilities and antioxidants. This ability to penetrate skin and regenerate skin is one of the reasons people seek it out as a possible anti-aging treatment.

Camomile……

Camomile is an ancient flowering plant with recognised anti-allergic, anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. Used to treat windburn, eczema and rashes in the skin, the properties of camomile are also beneficial for indigestion, coughs, colds, muscular pains and gout. It also relieves stress and anxiety.

Castor Oil……

Castor oil is a vegetable oil (castor bean) that is used for a wide range of cosmetic and medical purposes. It is said to provide health benefits for the face and skin.

Coltsfoot Extract……

Coltsfoot Extract  is a soothing natural organic extract used for moisturizing and conditioning the skin and for beneficial effects in shampoos and conditioners for the hair.  It is derived from the Tussilago Farfara plant and contains silica and cystine which are important amino acids encouraging healthy skin and hair.

Cornflower Extract……

Cornflower Extract has long been used for its natural healing properties all of which are good for the skin and hair.  Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compounds delivers powerful natural ingredients known to target fine lines and wrinkles as well as soothe the skin and reduce redness.  It is an effective gentle cleanser and has a natural anti-dandruff effect.

Ecuadorian Ivory Palm (Phytelephas Aequatorialis), Tagua Nut (Vegetable Ivory)……

Tagua nuts are vegan, sustainable faux ivory product grown in South America. There are six known species of Ivory Palms, sometimes called Ivory Nut Palms or Tagua Palms (genus – Phytelephas.) They can be found from southern Panama along the Andes Mountains to Ecuador, Bolivia, Columbia, Peru and north western Brazil. They are called ivory palms or ivory nut palms due to the extremely hard white endosperm of their seeds, which is very much like elephant ivory. These are also called tagua nuts or jarina seeds. Tiny granules of the nut are effectively used as exfoliants rather than the environmentally damaging plastic alternatives.

Given animal welfare concerns with hunting elephant and the resulting trade restrictions in elephant ivory, ivory palm endosperms are often used as substitutes for elephant ivory today, and traded as vegetable ivory, palm ivory, corozo or tagua. When dried out, it can be carved just like elephant ivory; it is often used for beads, buttons, figurines and jewellery, and can be dyed.

Glycerine……

Hop Extract……

Hop extract promotes a natural shine and helps to reduce dandruff.  Hops are full of antioxidants and have anti-aging, antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, all of which help reduce hair fall and reduce itchiness of the scalp.  The essential vitamins and oils in this plant assist with dead skin on the scalp, helping to unblock the pores and help reduce hair loss.  Hops also contain silica, which help to strengthen hair follicles and promote hair growth.

Hyaluronic Acid……

Hyaluronic Acid is a substance that naturally occurs in your body, including your skin and joint fluid.

The Egyptians, Greeks, Phoenicians, and Romans all took full advantage of this prized oil and today we observe the beautiful hair and skin of Mediterranean women many of whom claim their secret is the oil of the tiny olive fruit.
